各大店家都开始给俺伊妹儿生日小礼物，优惠券啦。
俺考虑一下要不要再组织一个barbecue。
今年中文学校的annual party 好像没有好吃的烤牛仔骨呢~~~~

国庆长周末。老猪同学难得可以不上班。
本来计划了出远门小游一下。但上网查了查，酒店什么的，假日都翻倍。小农的我们决定就近找点好玩的。

星期五本来没计划的。就打算在家多做点好吃的。准备写周六hiking和picnic的食物。
后来小妞说要去纽约的动物园。于是我们也一起去了。
虽然是大城市里的动物园。跟我们以前在上海、杭州看到的，还是挺不一样的。
动物们生活空间挺大的。而且一个个都被清洗的干干净净，很漂亮

动物园五点关门。
去flushing中国城买菜。顺便吃个晚饭。吃了热乎乎的包子，凉面，羊肉泡馍，麻辣烫等小吃。心满意足地回到New
 Haven。







周六的计划是去康州西部的一个公园hiking，然后吃完饭，然后去那附近的一个drive-in theater看电影。
结果去了太晚了。有有湖，有野餐区，要收票的那个已经没有车位了。路边又让不让我们趴。只好到附近的另一个公园，停下车，然后翻过一座山，hiking到这个公园去。
开始的时候，俺兴致勃勃。爬山嘛。小时候爬多了。山里前两天又刚刚下过雨。地上铺着厚厚的松针。踩起来柔软而有弹性。俺们飞快地就翻过了一个个山头。花了大概一个小时左右，便到达了目的地。
在湖边小憩了一下。看见湖边的人们都在欢快的吃着热狗，汉堡。俺发现俺的肚子也饿了。可是，我们的食物还在5mile之外呢。
山里蚊子多。此时又已经五点了。俺们决定从公路走回去。
于是乎，饥肠辘辘的小猪和老猪，又走了6mile，花了将近三个小时，回到了原点。
全程共计10迈，16公里。花时五小时。中间还去KFC小憩了一下。吃了几只鸡翅。
跟五年前的西湖毅行差不多了。
看着将晚的天色。立刻驱车去电影院里。电影要在天黑之后才开始上映。
找了一个好位置。调整好座位。终于可以开始大快朵颐了。一边吃，一边等着夜幕降临。
放佛又回到了小时候的乡村生活。盛夏的夜晚，全村人都在晒谷场的草地上坐着，一边看电视，一边拍蚊子。。。。

家门口有一大块草地，有几棵参天大树。
老猪没事就像只猫似的。弓着背，坐在对着大树的那张红色小沙发喃喃自语“这个房间可真好呀。夏天树叶茂盛，太阳不进。冬天落了叶子，大半天都能晒太阳呢。”（天知道，他有几分钟能在家呆着。。。）

树下大概有些蚂蚁窝。是那种巨大的山蚂蚁哦。小时候在乡下的山上到处可见的那种。
俺平均每天发现一只以上。悠闲地在我家散布。虽然即刻杀之。可是俺天天都过得有点胆颤心惊。这大蚂蚁要是在床上，衣柜里，没事躲着，出来吓我一下，那可够吓人的。。。。

上周末去newport参观豪宅。
卡片机已经不能满足某猪的需求了。
当然，应本人的强烈要求。还是勉为其难地拍了些到此一游照。

都是在同一个大宅里。
前一张是在二楼的露台上，望眼处为海。
后一张是在往花园的回廊。阳光耀眼。
一明一暗。俺竟然一副宠辱不惊的模样。
豪宅实在是没多大吸引力。空荡荡的房间里，不时飘荡高跟鞋敲打大理石地面的声音，实在是令人恐慌。

这些年，走过的地方不算多。从杭州到上海再到新港，以及将去的纽约。
旅行不算。走马观花。一笑而过。没有沉淀的记忆。
奇怪的是，这些曾经或者正在居住的城市。
每一个我都爱的很。
细细寻访一个个角落。走时也是恋恋不舍。
可是，一旦走了，又忘得很快。马上就爱上新城市。

这些年，读过的书也不少。
年幼时看琼瑶以及后来铺天盖地而来的各种言情小说。一度沉迷不得自拔。
后来上了大学，开始读现当代小说。鲁迅巴金矛盾老舍沈从文张爱玲，王安忆王蒙王朔池莉方方阿城张承志张炜路遥贾平凹。只喜欢故事。但发现主流作家的故事大多寡情。
偶尔也看些亦舒，安妮宝贝，张小娴，李碧华的小说散文。大部分华丽而残酷。
现在只看少量的教科书，都和数学有关。
偶尔学老公，读点纽约时报上的头十。关注数字和对数字的解释。
打算继续看纽约客。刚来时看不懂。现在发现大多数文章有趣而理性。可惜太长。睡前十五分钟往往只够我读个开头。第二天睡前拾起旧书，继续读，却不愿意再接着昨天看。

电影也看得不少。但也不多。
每到周末。打开ppstream找啊找啊，也难得找到一部喜欢的电影。
电视剧倒是有一些喜欢的，一直追着看。每周一集。
绝望主妇已经到了第五季了。剧情越来越诡异。清晰的发音，缓慢的语速，大概是我还有动力看的主要原因。
英雄的剧情也相当狗血。越来越无法理解。习惯成自然。星期一的晚上，我们都会停止一切活动。
实习医生格雷只有我看。剧情不断更新。也有新鲜感。

朋友也不算很多。但也不少
这些年不停地行走。又懒且疏于和旧友联络。好在网络发达。偶尔的问候依然温暖。

这些年，最最美好的。还是爱着那个和我一样正当青春美好的人。
成长收获。充满喜悦和惊喜。

又到六月。
一年一度的搬家活动又开始了。

本来是为爸妈来玩考虑，重新申请了一套两房的小公寓。打算一个做书房一个做卧室。爸妈来了，书法里的沙发床一拉，就可以做一间卧室里。
他们俩磨磨蹭蹭，没时间办护照啦，没时间签证啦，反正拖到最后，就是——不来了。
既然不来了，俺么就过二人世界里。更好。

因为只是搬到原公寓的对门。
所以，星期三中午一拿到钥匙。俺就开始蚂蚁搬家了。
先把新房打扫了打扫。然后陆陆续续，衣物啊，厨具啊等小东西，一点一点的搬进去，把房间慢慢塞满。
等老猪下了班回来，再把那些个大件的，电视机啊，沙发啊，一个一个搬进去。
劳动了两天，在胳膊上和腿上撞出了若干个黑色的块块。
可是还有好多东西要收拾和整理呀～～～～～～

After several meetings, which lasted almost 3 months, I finally got enough tuition points from department chair at TC for my first year study. 
It is probabally too early to be exiting, because I still need at least a campus job to support myself as well as the finacial aid for the later 3-4 years. 
However, I want myself  to remember what I've done and thought during this period, and to continous my job and dreams with them. 
Never give up. you will be paid back.

后知后觉地在网上找到了《小团圆》。
论文也丢在一边不管了。
这部写于上个世纪七十年代的小说，已经没了张爱玲早年的锐气和智慧了。
我能做的是，每看一行，就把人的一言一行对号入座，然后在心里默念，原来这个人是这样子的。
张太有名了。她身边的每一个人都被后人八卦得完完整整。
她显赫的曾祖父。终日吸食鸦片的旧式父亲和继母。现代新潮的母亲和姑姑。孤独不语的弟弟。战乱时的香港。年轻时代的朋友晏婴和苏青。当然还有她的旧情人胡兰成。
可是，这些人，这些事。都是平面的纸上的文字，写着的，无非就是生卒年月，生平大事之类的。
这个故事，终于可以让我见着了这些立体的人。也见到了张对他们的情感。
还是很不一样的。
比如她对她的父亲。还是充满了爱和柔情的。

当然，我更想说的，是她和胡兰成。
什么样的感情。可以让一个人时过境迁三十年后，还仍然念念不忘，心心相系？
心底里流出的，实在是对张的惋惜和同情。
竟然没再遇见一个让她更喜欢的人。

Ross has an intern job in the summer, so we can't have a big vocation in this summer. 
Reviewing the prevous trips is also an interesting thing. 
Moreover, I believe the most impressive part we'd experenced during the past winter vocationg haven't been bloged yet. 
So let me do it now. 

1. Theme Park

Actually, I think I am too older to be Disney Theme Park, although those parks are colorful and have lots of interesting attractions. However, I am not the person who can enjoy the roller-coasters, so I think I will never be there again, considering the expensive tickets. 





2. Beach
I have a faith that every American loves beach. Although I am not a native American, I was falling love into beach when we were in the FL. Beaches, with white and soft sands and clear water, are much better than the ones in the New Haven area, 
During the trip, we visited four beaches: Coca Beach, South Beach, a unname beach in the Key, Clearwater Beach. I have to say, all of them are great. 

The first one is the Coca beach, in the middle of Kennedy Space Center and Maimi.

Here we were in the famous South Beach in Maimi, so-called the most sexy beach in the U.S..
However, our guys were really disappointed because they can't find any hotties here. 
We were lanching into the occean, but I am really confuse what the Xiaohong was doing there.



This is just a park on the key. The only boating we did in that trip.
Lots of seeweed under the water. Making me exiting....


Key is the most beatiful place in the world I've ever seen. It is just a small islands extrued from the south Floride. So you can see the occean both sides when you are driving. 
More important, beacuse of the land feature in this sea area, the colour of ocean is different depending on the distanc from the center.  We were really astouning when we drove into this area and can't wait to take a picture with them.

I think we were on the beach behind our hotal on Tampa. But I forget the name of the beach. It is also an awesome beach. This is the Mexico Gulf Area, not the Atalantic Ocean anymore.


Clearwater Beach in Tampa. We spent all the day there. And then drove back to the icy and snowy New England after sunset.


3. Animals
We visited the Seaworld, and saw lots of marine animals, including Dolphin, Shamu, Penguin and Alligator.





Allegator is really a kind of lazy animal. They can be seen everywhere in the Evergland Parking, napping on the water side. However, we also observed sevral fightings. I guess they were fighting for the territory.
